The Glamour of Italian Fashion at the V&A

Masters of couture, innovators of ready-to-wear and the pioneers behind the striking female silhouette, the Italians are and always have been a major force for fashion, with the Italian “belezza” (strong, beautiful woman) at its heart. The impressive Glamour of Italian Fashion (1945 – 2014) exhibition at the V&A, running from the 5th April to the 27th July chronicles the rise of Italian fashion, and we were there to see it.
